It is produced in the Great Khingan Mountains of Heilongjiang Province, China at an altitude of 400-900 meters and in the sand dune area west and south of Hailaer. Can be used as garden ornamental and greening trees. With fast growth, good material and strong adaptability, the trees can be used as afforestation trees in the northeast Greater Khingan Mountains and the western sand hills.
